PFC Problems

I have installed my PFC and currently am having the following problems...

Loping idle
Limited RPM range

When trying to drive it will limit me to 1500 RPm and fall on its face. it will also proceed to idle at 1200 - 1300 rpms. Im not seeing a Rev limiter on the PFC at all. IT says FC AC - 1200 FC ET- 1100 FC IDLE AC-900 FC IDLE ET - 8?? FC IDLE -720 REV LIMIT AT 8100.

TPS is coming up as 0.01v on FULL and NARROW. So im guessing the sensor is bad since i replaced the actual connector to the TPS. Im not sure whats going on if it could somehow be in a limp mode?

Let me know thanks again
Jake

As long as you don't have anything to lose on the PFC I would go ahead and Re-Init it. This should be on the bottom of the ETC menu. After you've done that adjust the idle bleed screw to fully closed, and set the actual Idle screw so that when the pedal is released the throttle barely rests on it. After this use the TPS adjustment guide to see if you can get the TPS in spec, obviously its WAY out of spec. This is really easy to do with the PFC using the VTA1 and VTA2 readings on the sensors screen. After all that your ready to learn idle with the PFC. Start the car and let it run for 10 minutes, make any adjustments needed to get the idle @ 720rpms using the main screw for anything major (you should not have to do this) and the idle bleed for small adjustments, my car did not need any adjustments from the starting positions. The next 10 minutes turn the defroster or parking lights on, then after that 10 more minutes with the A/C on.

If you don't want to mess with the PFC fix your TPS readings first and see if the problem goes away.

alright heres an update. i was going to adjust the tps and couldnt. The volts would not flucuate even if i moved the tps up or down. I then unplugged the TPS sensor from the connector and the volts instantly jumped back up to 4.8 and 4.9 and vta1 +2 so im guessing its the TPS. I have one coming tomorrow to confirm this and make sure i can actually drive my car lol. THanks raptor

Are you sure the TPS is installed correctly?
Some mechanically challenged people install it so that the rotating tabs do not engage the taps of the TPS thus the TPS is not engaged.
