PFC folks, know what's up with the new instructions?
Please reference the following thread:

...There seems to be some new documentation in the PFC package that indicates that one should cut/splice some additional wires now. I don't know why this would be, and welcome those of you that know this ECU better than I to chime in and show us what's up.
Cheers,

Clipping the wires is only applicable if you get your PFC from somewhere that is not a tuning shop. SR does something to alleviate the need to clip the pins/wires on the harness. I think that SR either clips the pins on the PFC directly, or does something internally to invalidate them.
Just search around this section of the forum...there's been several threads that I've posted to that are related that you would be interested in.

Sounds to me like Apexi has finally found a fix or at least a decent workaround to the AC problems. SR customers don't need to cut the wires because he clips the pins on the PFC, but the wire splice for the AC would have to be done by the customer.
