pfc base map question...(midpipe)

i installed my pfc and everything is good ...

i have re v-mount ic ... greddy intake.... dp ....stock twins (10-8-10)(ported wastegate)
just removed the air pump, installed pulleys...and have my rx7store midpipe sitting in the garage...
still running the cat...and stock catback(for now)

was wondering if the base map can handle the midpipe install...
or will i need to be tuned (asap) ???

also when i install a aftermarket catback (i'm assuming it will need tuned then)

just wondering how many mods draw the line...

thanks guys

brad

If your PFC has the base mod map which they usually come with now:
(1) timing will be more safe than needed
(2) fuel should be OK with the cat, but I would not trust it for the MP.

It depends on how you drive the car. Low or no boost = safe, high boost = not safe. You need to study up on engine dynamics and how maps are used.

If you have the 5.08 map it will handle the midpipe as long as you keep boost below 13 pounds- spike it past there and you are taking a big chance.
