Overboost Protection
You can set up the PFC such that the P row/rows above what you use is for safety. Do this by adding a lot of fuel and remove timing.
But what happends if the solenoid or EBC fails. The above will help but the turbo may be making over 20 psi while you are trying to react.
I use a Hobbs switch inline with my A/C circuit so that as long as the engine is over 2psi boost, the A/C remains off.
You can also place one of these inline with your boost controller solenoid to insure at a set given pressure that the boost solenoid is turned off and boost reduced to the wastegate spring pressure.
