OMP Problems

I spent two weeks changing vac. lines and started the car this weekend. I can't get boost of any kind, lots of white smoke and code 27. Please tell me Iam in limp mode and how to get rid of this omp. I am new to my 95 RX7.

27 bad MOP, either it is bad or the wiring or connector is bad. Check wiring conductivity(impedance) for each of the MOP wires from the ECU connectors to the MOP connector. To reset the ECU, unplug the battery for 15 minutes then reconnect it.

There is no such thing as white smoke. Excess oil will burn blueish white and slowly disipates. It smells like oil. Steam out of the exhaust is white and quickly disipates with no smell or smell of antifreeze.

Which do you have?

To reset the ECU disconnect the neg battery cable 15 sec. push on the brakes ,to discharge the unit . reconnect the battery cable . Good to go. Let the others sit for 15 minutes and stare at the floor .
