OMP Control/Diag (Searched)

I know many use the power fc as ecu of choice for 3rd gens. and I'm about to purchase one... my issue is. i'm debating on 3 things. 1 premix, 2 seperated 2stroke canister and running fac omp. or 3, regular dino engine oil like factory style. BUT i'm wondering if the OMP fails does the PFC notify you in any way. I.E. CEL, warning message etc etc.

Thanks For Any insight!

The PFC is supposed to light up the "exhaust overheat" light when any of the sensor readings fail or are out of spec. I do not know if this actually works, since it has never lit up my CEL light when it's supposed to.

I had my OMP replaced 3 years ago or so with a brand new one, so I'm not worried about it.

The FC-Commander manual states" when the check engnie light is on...the malfunctioning sensor will illuminate" on the Commander (page 35)

I doubt this occurs..regardless even if the VMP voltage is correct this does not guarantee that the MOP (mechanical aspect is functioning properly) or the correct amount of oil is being injected.

pm me for additional details

Yep. PFC flashes the sensor whose value is out of range and displays the value it is currently reading. That is how I found that I had a problem with my OMP... Does not turn on any check engine lights though

thats because, if i read some where here correctly, the PFC does not light up CELs. it lights up the "exaust overheat" light on the console due to japanese cas not having a CEL. if i remember correctly a thread was about this and with a write up on how to get your CEL to work with a PFC.
