Question Noob PFC question

I dont have enough money to purchase a boost guage so i have to look at my pfc. When i bought the pfc the instruction manual was in japaneese (not sure if they are all like this or what.) Well when i go to the boost screen it reads in mmHs, how do i convert that into psi? If i hit down on the commander in the bottom left i can get it to have another reading, if i get into the boost it usually stays at +4.2. I really know nothing about the pfc as i havent had much time to read up on it and mess around with it. Sorry for what is probably a noob question to you guys, i should be purchasing a boost guage in a few months as i am short on money now. Thx-Eric

You can download the english manuals from Apexi.

The PFC displays boost as kg/cm^3. http://www.onlineconversion.com/pressure.htm

Also on my site (clubrx.org) I have the English manual as well as the FAQ.

Easy intro to thinking in Metric - .7 is stock boost. .5 is wastegate-only boost (ie, you have a boost problem). .8 and some change is where I'd stay at safely with the stock PFC map. 1.0 is about the max the stock twins can reliably do.

But, to help you out a bit further - .5 is equal to 7 psi, .7 is 10psi, and 1.0 is 14 and some change PSI.
