The AC does not work in my car with the fan switch on 3 after I installed the PFC. The AC works fine with the fan on 1, 2, or 4. I am sure that many of you have noticed the same thing. Is this a bug or a feature?

I usually remove the AC relay, turn the AC switch on, and run the fan on 3 when I go to the track for extra engine cooling. Now, the PFC seems to do a better job of keeping the car cool on its own, but I also wonder if this "no AC on 3" thing is a feature to allow you to run the fans more without having to pull the relay.

Has anyone heard of this being an engine cooling feature?

Obviously you have not read any of the other posts from this week about the same problem which has been around since the Apexi PFC first came out last year!

It is one of at leaste two bugs in the PFC. It affects different models of the 93-95 FD differently, even for different years.

If you only lost fan speed 3 you are very blessed, be happy.

Why are you not running the fan mod for fan cooling the engine for track events, does yours not work?
