Hey guys i just purchased my first FD and have absolutely no clue as to how the fc commander works or what it does for me,
If someone could elaborate and give me an explanation of how to use it and whats going on it would be much appreciated

Honestly a lot can be learned with the search function, as it's an amazing tool since many have asked the same question before.

It allows for adjustment to fuel and timing maps, as well as power Fc settings. It can be used for monitoring sensor voltages, coolant temps, show rpm, injector duty.

A datalogit is a better option to use Fc-edit software to utilize a laptop and make full use of the power Fc. Will allow for data logging and logging analog inputs such as wideband for afr reference to help tune fuel maps.

Find an older very experienced FD owner/mechanic, pay him to teach you everything about your car.

 

Seems like a good idea ! Problem is theres not many fd's here in ottawa (canada) only seen 2 my entire life
