Question New Power FC owner

I have read the Dale Clark PDF and i'm ready to plug in the power FC into my 95 R2. I'm just having a problem with the whole cutting of the wire to the EGR senor and the other 3 that is said to cut. i'm just little uneasy about cut on my harness wire for the install. Just want t make sure thats what you have to do for it to work.

You can depin as well.

These are useless wires man, they are used for nothing that is important. They are only for USDM emissions equipment (accelerated warmup system and EGR) that have no bearing on the resale value of the car, its reliability, or its ability pass emissions when warmed up.

They are:
Blue/Green or Blue/Aqua 3J = EGR switch (Ca only)
Black/Red 4F = split air bypass solenoid
Blue/Yellow 4O = EGR solenoid
Brown/Yellow 4P = AWS solenoid
************************************************
No AWS, either disconnecte or removed: no problem.
No EGT valve, either removed or no hose going to it: no problem.
No EGT switch, either removed or disconnected: no problem.

Thus only the split air bypass is a concern. Just remove the connector from it.
No cutting or pulling required. All is simple electronics control.
