Installed an FC Datalogit and now car won't idle and runs like crap

I need some help understanding what has happened. I have a 93 with a mini bridgeport, upgraded stock mount intercooler, stock primary injectors, 1600 secondary injectors, Apexi Power FC with the Comander and newly installed datalogit, full turbo back exhaust, and the efini twins set up in paralel... after installing the data logit it has become hard to start and once started it runs like crap... no power at all and if you hit 4k it just breaks up and wont continue past there. it builds no boost at all. I was wondering if anyone has a similar set up they could send their map to help me out.

The stock settings on a PFC are not set to deal with that level of modifications, and you cannot tune it for 1600cc injectors without a Datalogit. Take it to a good tuner in your area who knows how to tune Rx7s(check the regional section), don't drive it around like that until its tuned, your asking for trouble.

How do you "install" a Datalogit? It just plugs into the PFC like the Commander. It doesn't do anything to the car unless you get in there with a laptop and start changing things.

Thats what I thought, The datalogit kinda piggy backs the PFC and the Commander plugs into it. I connected via laptop to copy my base map that the car was running on to send to a tuner. I tried starting up and it started to run but very poorly as I said. I havent messed with any settings. I was just wondering if hooking up the datalogit reverted my PFC to its original map?

compare the map you saved initially with the map that's in the ECU now, the one that comes up when you click "Read All"

Do you know any of the settings of the map you saved? Like injector settings and such... maybe you accidentally loaded the base map or something. Just adding a datalogit wouldn't do anything, you must have somehow changed something. Either that or your map sensor got disconnected some how. Check that, and check the sensor screen in the commander. And if you remember anything from your old map check to see if it's changed. Do you have a wideband?

I'll check it tonight when I get home, all I did was read all, went up to file and saved to my hard drive after that went to go for a ride and that when she ran poorly, i pulled up the map i saved and it says i have 850 2ndaries does that seem right. I have 1600 in there now the primaries are fine. to be honest i dont do any kind of tuning so i have know idea what my map should look like, i can email it to anyone that could take a look and tell me if i screwed up some how. Maybe i over wrote my base map with what ever was originally in there or something.

Well it depends on how it was setup using the commander, or apexi software originally for you. Unlike the datalogit, the commander doesn't go to 1680cc but most people enter 1500cc in the commander when running 1680's (1600cc). Though it is entirely possible to tune the car with the incorrect injector sizing so even if 850cc is entered, it could have been tuned like that.

Ok just had a look at the map you saved and thats the base map that comes in the PFC. Looks like you either were running the base map all along (doesn't sound like it) or you reset the PFC(more likely). Initialize.... did you ever see that? That's what resets the PFC. Looks like you need to go get it retuned buddy.
