Question new ported motor> time to dyno tune?

Mods:

Apexi GT spec catback
Apexi Power Intake
Apexi PFC without Commander (haven't put it back on yet)
Ghetto Fabulous pseudo ram air for open intakes
3mm seals
street port (mild)

I finally got the 3mm streetport finished, and then ran into some problems right after my car came out of the shop -- 0 boost. Clamp had popped off of one of the actuator rods. Easy fix...also found that my precat had gone bad which caused secondary boost to spool slowly and trickle off.

Went for a drive when the 0 boost issue was resolved and now im spiking 16# on primaries, 6-8 on transition, with the secondaries slowly spooling up to 11#. Hitting boost cut like crazy on stock ECU on anything more than 50% throttle. I refuse to take the car over 5500rpms due to this :p

Putting the PFC back in (newer model where EGR wires must be pulled) should help to control this nasty boost spiking right? I bought my PFC without the commander, and I regret that decision. Im going to be picking up a DP this weekend to resolve the slow spool on the secondaries, but it will obviously not help with the boost spiking.

I am figuring that ported motors require extra fuel requirements, so my question is if I will be safe running the base map running a DP, catback, intake w/ram air modifications, on a street ported motor.

Im almost positive that putting the PFC back in should be able to fix the boost spiking, but what baffles me is how I am spiking close to 16psi with a clogged pre-cat (car can smell like ****/musty at times)?

Sorry for the scatterbrained-ness of this post, but it's 3:00am :p

Spiking is caused by overspooling the #2 turbo before it comes online.
You need to adjust the precontrol rod to put more pressure on it's control gate so that it takes more pressure to open it. Also a smaller pill for it will slow down its opening.

Thanks for the advice Chuck, I will have to try that. Im getting way too much boost way too early (13-14 @ 3000 @ 25% throttle)

It might be possible that your WG and PG solenoids or hoses are cross connected. Check this, and the four control hoses coming out of the intake manifold first. I
