New car,bigger injector adjustment
New car,bigger injector adjustment
Hey guys I bought a RHD that was tuned for 550/id1700 on stock ports and a t04r allegedly making around 320whp at 9psi.
It had been sitting and one of the secondary injectors appears to have clogged so I replaced with some Bosch 2200/id2000 injectors I had laying around. Is it possible to lean the map out a bit to run smoothly again? The car starts up and idles great and cruises perfectly but is obviously quite rich as it still think there's 1700cc secondary injectors. From what I know the timing map looks pretty good.
I have a data Logit and can easily post the map if someone can help me out.

I have the same question. I have a Power FC. I want to install different injectors (ID1050x's primary and secondary). Can I just change the values in FC-Edit Settings 5, without having to re-tune or change any other settings?
You can change the settings to get the car to start, idle, and run, but it will DEFINITELY need to be re-tuned. The new injectors may be more efficient at certain loads so some spots may be too rich, others too lean.
