Need some help on working with PFC

My friend just bought an FD, and he wants to turn the boost up a bit. I have never used a commander but I was looking at his. In the boost setting I see

1. PR
SC
2. PR
SC

Behind them are some numbers showing boost.
What do I do to tun it up and what do I need to offset to make it safe?

The 1 and 2 is the slots for your boost setting. What ever slot you exit from that is the boost setting you have for the car. The kfg/cm is the boost level in bar. From what I remember is 1 bar is roughly around 14 psi. The numbers after that is the base duty for your turbines. Download the manual from Apexi and it will explain it to you. You'll have to experiment on the settings for your own car since not all car has the same mods. But I do reccommend not to exceed 1 bar if you have a stock fuel system. Good luck and don't blow an engine.

No, not going to blow an engine, it is only set at 9 PSI right now I think, so just wanting to turn it up to about 12 PSI. Not the stock fuel system either.

I turned the boost up just a pound to see what it would do, and it lost power on the dyno and the AFR's went lower by .6. What did I do wrong? I thought it would automatically compensate? It lost 9 whp on a PSI of boost extra? WTF?
