The PFC works as it comes. Uses the COMMANDER to tune it.

Now if you mean software/hardware to tune beyound what the commander can do; you need to spend about $300 for the DATALOGIT. Then you will also need a laptop to run the software.

Your so called tuner is a F***** stupid fool!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You can get a PFC without the COMMANDER but them you can not change the basic simple programming.

I suggest you do not let the idiot touch your car. He doesn't know what the PFC is since he asked for software.

I also suggest you do some research on the WEB about the PFC and Commander as you do not know either.

Doyou even have the COMMANDER for your PFC?

If not get it.

Who is your tuner. Share the info so others can be saved!

BTW, I have never heard any reputable tuner say that any programmable ecu is a POS. They all have preferences, to be sure, but I have never heard anyone completely slam any recognizable brand. You need to rethink your tuner selection!

The PFC w/ Commander is the most user-friendly computers out (I think) on the market. It is very easy to adjust and tune if you have a wideband (sounds like he does or might). Any idiot should be able to tune/adjust the PFC values (I should know). You don't need any software to tune/adjust you maps. The software/program version is already on it and that is all you need to tune/adjust your settings.

If he can tune a Haltech, the PFC should be simple. Maybe you should just bring him the users manual that can be found in the stickys at the top and have him read it.

Perhaps this tuner knows what a pain-in-the-*** it is to tune with the Commander, but is aware that it is possible to tune a PFC with a laptop (more familiar to him since he's a haltech tuner). He may not be aware that it requires a $300 hardware/software add-on to have this functionality with a PFC.

Yes, normal people use the commander unit but it can also be tuned with Apexi Softwear.

My tuner uses it when tuning any PFC.
