Hey there,
I've been trying to get this black box Dataloggit to work with my PFC for the past hour now, I had to find my Belkin drivers to start off to have it USB. Then I installed it, went into Device manager to have the COM port set to 1 - 2 - 3 and finally 4. I tried them all, I changed them into FC Dataloggit v2.120 and it always tells me, "Interface not responding " what does this mean?

Im sitting in my car right now waiting for an answer from you guys :P
Whenever you guys get a chance to spread some light on this matter.

Hmm just noticed, the red light is not coming up.... what could be the cause?

EDIT: the red light only lights when I ignition off...

 

Could it be because non of the harnesses are grounded?? i just thought of this...

 

The PFC red light should come on only when the ignition is on.

 

It comes on when I shut it down, and lights off after 3-4 secs.

 

Your laptop detects the Dataloggit?

 

Well it detects the Belkin Adapter Serial to USB and everything so I have that installed. The light says there a link to the Comp on it, but it still doesn't explain why the Dataloggit LED doesn't come on, and even the commander, plugged thru the dataloggit doesnt come up.

Ground the harness? yes or no? doesnt the PFC ground itself thru our harnesses?

 

...guess ill have to try that out tonight then.
