is my fuel pressure to high?

my fuel pressure at idle is 60psi , i have the stock primary inj. and 1600cc secondary inj.R85 turbo + ported motor. I know stock idle fuel pressure is 28-32 psi and was wondering if 60psi at idle is too high. thanks in advance

Higher Fuel Pressure = More Fuel Flow Through The Injectors.

To Much Fuel Capacity At Idle = Inability Or Problems To Adjust Idle AFR

If the O2 FB control is turned on it an be worse. Can still happend even if off.

The ISC uses both fuel and air flow to control idle, any feedback system can become unstable if what it is trying to control is too far off the norm.

the base pressure should be under 50psi; around 45psi or so.

set it to 45psi with the car running and the vac line to the FPR disconnected. the vacuum should suck the fuel pressure down to a little under 40 with the vac line hooked back up.

In the last week there have been other threads with exact instructions how to set the base fuel pressure and at what pressure range to do it.
