Mounting PowerFC

Heya how are you guys mounting your powerfc? Mine doesn't have any holes in it for the factory brackets.... Are you just shoving it in there in the kickpanel? Using the velcro strips? What about taking it apart and drilling holes in the case for screws so that you could use the factory bracket?

I clearanced the top bracket to allow for the commander, and zip-tied it between the top & bottom brackets. It's pretty solid.

Basically did the same as above except I left out the top bracket altogether. Unless you cut it I cant see how you wld be able to plug in the commander. With the unit resting on the bottom bracket I got some tie wraps and looped it up and arnd the unit and lower bracket and cranked it down......No probs to date!

As for the commander bracket, I got one of those specially made to order Dr Wankel brackets and it looks/works fine!

Gdluck!

When I actually mounted the ecu part, I put two velcro strips on the lowerstock mounting bracket. These velcro to the bottom of the PFC. Then I took a pice of sheet metal that they sell at home depot for nailing studs together, I bent this into an L shape. Then I riveted this L to the upper bracket. The other two velcro strips went onto this. Now the back side of the PFC near the top is attached to this bracket.
The PFC commander I mounted in the ash tray. Someday I'll post Pictures, or maybe you guys can ask Attila for some, i copied his design...

Pics of the commander mounted in the ashtray please? I'm considering replacing my ashtray with the jspec arm pad, and if i can put the commander there I won't do that. Stealth commander would be awesome
