Which model to Buy!?
Hey list,
Thinking of buying a power fc with datalogic. Do it or don't? If do! Which model should i bu? I have heard that there is a 16bit and a 8bit. I'm guessing that it's a difference between the speed, 16bit being faster, but is there any other changes between them? Like limited amount tuning fields?!
Thanks

The 8 or 16 bit only refers to the stock ECU. The early FDs had 8 bit ECUs, around 1999, they went to 16.
The PFC totally replaces the stock ECU and is 16 bit. You have no choice. The DATALOGIT with a laptop, allows greater tuning control of the PFC than can be done only with the PFC Commander. It also allows monitoring/recording of many PFC functions while driving and thus is a great tuning tool.
