low boost and high injector duty????

let the WTF begin...

up in CO i ran 12 psi with injectory duty of about 83% or so (trying to remember)

took the car back to dallas and put it on high setting and said OH F*CK as the boost gauge climbed past 13 to 14 psi with rage.....look down and i had 96% injector duty. (SH*T!)

so i turn it to the 9.5# low boost setting on the profec B and i do another partial run and see that i get 89-90% injector duty. the air was so much more compressible i saw the gauge pin at 10 instead of the usual 9.5.
(sh*t again.....)

so i turn the low boost all the way down and i still get 86%

say screw it and turn the thing off so its just the stock wastegate regulating things. which gives me 7.5-8#

at that setting im still seeing injector duty cycles of low 80s and on a cold night 84% injector duty...

this seems really OFF to me. anyone have any suggestions what might be causing this?? what to look at or what to look for...

the other question is does the power FC take any feedback from the O2 sensor?? if so, that might be a place that id look first to be the culprit.

thanks

i may be way off but have you taken CO's altitude into concideration?
air density is waaaaaay different from CO to TX as im sure you well know.

yes
thats why i got such high boost at the same setting for the profec B

the problem is that the #s i am getting in dallas (near sea level) of almost 85% injector duty @8 psi doesnt seem right.

sorry if that wasnt clear before...

Is it making the same or more power at those lower boost levels?

I am in Kansas and my Power FC was giving me injector duty cycles of the lower 90's at 10.5 psi. I even hit a max of 96.8% once. That was when i realized I needed injectors. Now my car is tore down and I have been WAITING on SR to do my injectors for over two weeks now! I wouldn't be so mad but the weather has been nice and RC engineering gurantees 24hour turn around. Well I sit and wait.
