Knock control

Hey guys I was doing a search on KNOCK CONTROL. Well my question is does the Stock ECU retard timing??? or use fuel cut when KNOCKing occurs? Also does the PFC retired timing or does it use fuel cut to control KNOCK? IF both ECU does nothing when knocking occurs then what is the reason for the knock sensor???

The stock ecu retards timing...the PFC doesn't do jack ****.

Sure it does... it keeps you entertained with a great little bar graph that provides for a very pretty display, very much on-par with an Autometer A/F gauge
