I dont have a PFC but I have a similair problem. Does it idle when hot?
Also Ive heard the PFC takes some time to adjust everything to your car.

Make sure you cut the right wires - make sure that when you looked at your harness you are looking at the same side of the plug as the diagram. That is, make sure you weren't looking at the harness-side plug to determine which wires to cut if the diagram was showing the pfc-side - or vice versa.

If your idle just bounces and/or revs then you just need to let it run for some time at idle (like 10 mins) - even after that it might take sime time to sort out. Ilde may bounce at stoplights on hot days for awhile, but it should work out fine. It took a couple of months for these issues to go away completeley when I replaced my pfc with a new one.

that said - stalling out isn't normal - fist think - check for correct wires - then start looking at other things that you may have touched/disturbed. Loose connections, leaks, etc.

I did a little write up on how to set your idle with your PFC, so that it will idle perfectly. Here is a link.
