Just installed NEED HELP.

I just installed my power fc and loaded up the base map I was supplied with. It is running way to rich. Its at 10.1 and lower probly at idle. Thats as low as my wideband reads. Is there someone that maybe has a map with close to my mods in my sig. Only thing different is I have a stock turbo on it right now. I need to be able to drive it to get it tuned in March and there is no way right now. Or could someone explain how to lean it out some. I dont know how to load the map on here, otherwise I would. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks Skyler

The manual gives enough information for anyone with decent automotive understanding. Have you really read it? How about page 20?

Actually starts on page 21 and ends on page 22, my error.

How do you think we first owners learned? We recorded what a value was then changed it (with reason and knowledge of what it affects) to see what happened.
If it was better, then we kept the new value otherwise we return it to the original.

We kept up this plug-n-play inorder to get use to the controls and to understand them. We taught ourselves! Later with the Datalogit, it was made a lot easier as you can save the orig map incase you screwd up.

All the Fuel Correction values are a percent to be applied to the base fuel map.
Thus 121 is really 121% or 1.21 times the amount that you can not see without a DFL. If you change it to 111 you leaned it out by 10%.

Then on pages 23-24 it shows how to do it not by fuel cell but by rpms and map sensor output.

If you know basic algebra which you should: Old AFR/New AFR = % of fuel change.
To lean out from a 10 AFR to a 13 AFR: 10 / 13 = .769 or 76.9%. If the orig value was 112, then 112 * .769 = 86.

Now go plug and play! I do sell PFC/DL tuning notes for the barve ar heart.

So just follow the map tracer to see where to adjust the idle? I would have to relearn the idle afterwords right? Can I street tune with this or should it always just be idleing? What are the RPM's, 500rpm increments? I appreciate all the help just new to the power fc.

First off, have you told the PowerFC what size injectors you have? If the PFC can scale itself for your injector sizes, that will go a long way to driving the car.

If it's an FD PFC it's set for 550 primaries, and your sig says 750cc primaries. There's your richness.

Yes it has the right injectors entered in. I just got it to run a little better but now hesitates off idle when you barely touch the pedal. Is this because of the transistion between the say 1000 and 1500 scale? Thanks

No that does not happen until about 47% duty cycle unless you changed the stock settings.

Have you read page 29? It is confusing but increasing the left side and/or decreasing the right side helps. There is another table that helps more but it is DL only accesable.

When using 850 primaries and using lag to properly lean out the idle, it makes them run about like 800.
750 primaries should not be a problem.

It is all in the TOTAL tune.

Well I got it figured out with some help from Banzai Racing. A+ to Chris. It was the map sensor wasnt getting the proper vacume. Runs good now just had to play with the idle a little. Thanks for the help though.
