just datalogged a run

I just been out for a drive datalogging.
I have the datalogit on maptracer mode wathcing leading timing!
The confusing thing is maptracer showed me timing figures higher than what I have mapped most worryingly under boost. How is this possible ?

Don't worry about timing first.
That is what I do right now, just trying to get the AFR correct. But since you have idle problem. That should be your number one priority to fix. Nothing in Datalogit can help your idle.

A search on this subject will tell you expect igl/igt readings 2-3 degrees higher than what you expect.

Go by the P & N celss to determine where you really are.

I did search I have found a wealth of pfc knowledge on here but didn't find anything suggesting that what values I put on the ignition map I will in real life situation be 2 or 3 degrees above.
So basically if I want to have 15 degrees leading at 16 psi I really set ign map for 12 degrees ?
and when I datalog a run I will see the true figure?
