sorry
The savings is not enough for me to go through the group-buy. I appreciate the effort and realize that we're talking about near 10% when 10 people are in. Thanks anyways!

Item should be shipped in a couple weeks. Here's how it will work: Once Kris send a list of buyers to Innovate. Cort at innovate will then contact each person and have them pay for their order via Credit Card or whatever direct to Innovate MS. Then he will ship the units directly to the buyer.
Merced Imports is simply publicizing the Group Buy and taking names and email addresses. It's pretty simple.

No proof that I have heard yet. I may be the first guine pig. Cort at IMS says that it shoudl work fin since it has a 0~5 volt output. This is that same input accepted by the PFC/datalogit.
Apprarently, the LM-1 is being used successfully with the Haltec...

I would hold off on this buy until IM gets their firmware fixed. I just purchased one of these units and it's been completely flaky, and made yesterday's tuning session absolutely horrible. I'd rather have used a TechEdge wideband.

Good luck with your stuff. But try to leave TE alone.

It remains accurate to within a couple of 10ths LEANER of even the most expensive shop units. I won't trash FJO, Innovate or any other WB, I don;t know why you find it necessary to trask TE. This is not to say that they are flawless, but at least they try to accomodate their customers on a 1 to 1 basis with their online forum.

I remember seeing this mans products 18 months ago and I gave him some input as to what I would like to see in a meter as a tuner. What he has produced in such a short time is real impressive indeed.
So much so that I am selling my BIG NAME brand meter to use one of his units in the future
Innovative looks nice too, but there seems to be a few bugs in it that should have been sorted before release ? Other thing too for a person doing lots of tunning is the security of the connections ! If they are screw in connections or clip locks @ minimum then they are not secure in my books.
Either way there is **** loads of choice for the consumer for a far far lower cost and increased accuracy than was ever the case up to recent times.
Peters new prototype unit will be even better again, I am into his ear with what I feel would be ideal for a dedicated enthusiast or even a pro shop. Cant wait for this one to come out. Till then the version 2.0 will suit me fine.

Well spend about 2 hours over at Peter's last night (Tech Edge) and we bench tested my expensive Autronic WB v's his unit, they did some on road testing between the two units and they correlated fairly well.
Obviously the TE runs better tech than the Autronic in regards tot he sensor, but even though the Autronic uses an "old tech" sensor it does a bloody good job ! Albeit a bit slower than is possible with the 5 wire unit.
All in all I was very impressed with what I saw and also the fact that Peter was willing to accomodate my odd requests in regards to Autronic 0-1v = 10.0:1-30.0:1 linear output for Auto tunning, made me buy his unit ! On that note Innovate's way of using a voltage divider to achieve the same result is open to variations in temperature and grounding which will make it not as accurate as the way Peter explained it to me, also he said he can go straight form the DA converter to the ECU input without needing any dividers etc which will be more accurate............. works for me so I'm not sure how others fit into this catagory ?
All up I think the WBO2 from TE is an awsome unit, for me the choice is much easier cause its made 20min from my house and I can ask for whatever (with in reason) I want and they will make it or modify it
This business is run by real enthusiasts who are constantly making (I believe) leading edge equipment with proven performance compared to the biggest rep brands.
P.S. I saw some logs they did of an AEM unit they bought to evaluate and what I saw was shock !!! All I will say is that I always thought they were rubbish

News Flash: The LM-1 w/ the Bosch O2 Sensor won't work with turbocharged Rotary engine. You have to use the NTK O2 Sensor. That is unless you have a 1" bypass tube welded in line for the sensor.
I have been struggling with my LM-1 unit for over a week now. Here's what I have found out:
The FD turbocharged exhaust gasses are much too hot for the Bosch 02 Sensor. I have been to the muffler shop three times now and have had three bungs holes(I need T.P. for my...) welded on my DP & HF Cat. I was trying to place the O2 sensor further downstream. I even spoke to Klaus of IMS and we have confirmed that I am having issues because of my excessive Exhaust gas and the sensitivity of the Bosch Sensor.
Patrick of IMS will be calling me tomorrow to see if he can get me an NTK 02 sensor to try out. The NTK sensor is less heat sensitive and should work since the FJO WB O@ uses it. I will have to make my own cord for the NTK, which is no big deal. It's just crimping 5 wires together.
BTW, the customer service that I have received from the folks at Innovate has been great! I will report back with the results after I get the new sensor. I just thought I'd mention this and save you guys some of the frustration that I've experienced.

Ok, we've determined that I need to try the NTK O2 Sensor on my car. Innovate is Going to "lend" me one to try out before I buy one for $185.00+ They will also credit me $75.00 for returing the Bosch O2 Sensor.
Pretty good customer service if you ask me...

This is a simple question, but how can the MoTeC PLM work well in the DP using a LSU Bosch sensor and the LM-1 unit throws an error ?
From all reports the MoTeC is accurate in this location and runs without glitches. Maybe new firware will resolve the issue ?

I just sent an email to IMS for comment on that.

I dont have a PLM but a few people I know run them in the DP on turbo rotaries and other "imports" without issues.
I just ordered a LM-1 and a few other bits, so I hope to test it out soon
I may or may not get the TE unit see how good the LM-1 is first ? I sent Cort an email regarding your issues, but I decided to get one anyways as I do all my testing with a tail pipe probe.
Regards
Peter

When the PLM boys say they are accurate I guess they dont realy know ? the answer should read that their units still work As to the accuracy thats another issue i'm sure.
This is my take on it, I guess new firware will stop the sensor error but how much accuracy is lost will be the key thing
