I'm about to buy a datalogit and either an Innovate LM-1 or LC-1. I just wanted to make sure of a couple things. The LC-1 by itself will work with the datalogit, right? I don't need so spend the extra $ for the LM-1 kit, correct?

 

Yes and yes. I have it and it works great.

 

can it also act as a narrowband for the power fc at the same time?

 

Yes, it has an output that can simulate a narrowband sensor

 

so you could leave it permanently installed really?obviously wideband senors have a shorter life expectancy though but my car doesnt do many miles lol.

 

The sensor used with the LC-1 at least the VW version is OE supplied so depending on your fuel choices should last plenty long. I'm now running datalogit and an LC-1 installled permanently.

got my lc1 installed now and its working great thru datalogit have you guys seen this? http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/r...1_Tutorial.pdf its for the lm1 but still pretty useful.
