injector duty while cranking?

what injector duty is normal while cranking? i see an average of 5% but it also jumps to 17% while cranking. is this to high or is this normal? also after trying to start the car with the key in the on position is see 1.8% with the car off but it wont go back to 0% unless i remove the key. thanks in advance

The injector pulsewidth/duty cycle is based on the cranking mS map in settings 2 of the datalogit, but I have noticed that it does not exactly correspond 100% to logged pulsewidth. The PFC has some corrective factors, probably based on air temp and cranking rpm. For example, the BaseMod map (standard basemap in all new PFC's) has a pulsewidth of 59 msec at +10C coolant temp (although my logs are show it noticeably lower even around that temperature). That temp is near where a lot of cars are going to start if the engine is cold and the car is in a garage. At warm idle the injector pulsewidth is going to be between 1.5 - 3.0 msec. Thus injector duty will be way higher during cranking than idle.
