Idle Timing
Can anyone tell me why my idle timing is stuck at -5 & -20. Can re-set when car not running but as soon as I try it, it fixes back at -5 & -20 (cannot adjust).
Also getting strange knock warning for no apparent reason (sometimes at low revs sometimes high sometimes not at all). Have raise threshold to 100 with much less warning.
Jap import rs to uk
hks rs induction kit
arc intercooler
blitz valve
racing plugs, 10s
earthing kit
solid engine mounts
engine stabilizer
full apexi de-cat pipe.
don`t know if this is important but there is also a Blitz power meter which is giving crazy readings. Massive power readings with a slight blip on the throttle and keeps flashing warning red.

The program is set on the + side as with other peoples settings. I have been told that idle settings may need to be adjusted for different types of tuning, fuel e.t.c. and it is not normal for it to be - and locked but they don't know what symptoms cause the problem.
Anyone out there with the answer.

When I uncheck idle control on datalogit, it does nothing.
Not related but I have never seen inj. warning or knock warning either. I set them low enough just to see the light flash, but it doesn't.

whenever your idle falls below your decelaration rpms your idle ignition gets locked w/ preset values which cannot be changed....
when idle control box is checked it simply keeps it at steady numbers for testing.
It will not match the #s on the ignition map 'til revs go past 1000-1200 rpm depending of elect load.
