Idle speeds up with left turns and drops when making a right turns?
Can anyone help this situation. When I drive mt Fd with a PFC and I cut the wheel to the left the idle slowly raises up until i stop turning the wheel or till it reaches 2800rpm. When I turn the wheel to the right the idle drops but never below 700. I did not install the PFC but i am thinking there is something not connected properly to it. Any help would be appreciated. I have streetport engine with non-seq and full exhaust mid/up pipe. Thanks in advance. Chris

The steering has only 1 function with the ECU that I know of.
That is the speed sensing on the power steering pump. What it does or if the ecu controls the pump pressure, I do not know. Why would it affect idle while turning the wheel one way over the other does not make any sense. But you might try playing with that by removing the connector. Test with it on and off.
Have you tried testing with the stock ecu back in?
