You need to provide more detail. How often does it occur, do you have a commander? Did you install the PFC? Did you go through the idle "learning" stages on the PFC?
I had the same problem. It only occurred when the car was warm. If you have the commander, mine occurred when the car hit 88 degrees on the button.
The car had an electrical load (ELD) constantly. When the car started warm, the idle shot up to 3K and then bounced from 1500-2000. It was the wires on my harness. They hadn't been clipped for the PFC. Once the 4 wires were clipped, car ran normal
Ensure you let the PFC learn idle for 10-15 minutes with no electrical load, and an elictrical load. Each stage, idle for 15 minutes.

Unplug the idle air control solinoid behind the upper intake manifold. its a small black cylider looking thing. Just unplug the white clip and see what happens. Sometime this cures the issue for alot of PFC owners. Also there are some tips in this forum if you spend some time browsing them. Its where i found that info out myself.

Most of the time when you go to non-seq and you have a 1-1.5krpm oscillation it is a result of the PFC needing to be idle-calibrated again.
Do not bother troubleshooting until doing the 30 minute run-down again.
