How to tune w/ Commander only? Downpipe only w/ stock twins & stock ports
Yes... I searched and searched and searched some more. Every thread I can find sends me to a link that no longer works. ARGHH!!!
Anyhow, does anyone have any decent info on how to tune w/ the hand-held Commander only? Any directions or tutorials on the Commander?
The car is a 93' on a fresh rebuild, OEM ports and OEM twins. The only mods are downpipe, high flow cat, exhaust, and a GReddy SMIC. So basically it just needs a mild tune to adjust for the increase in boost from the down-pipe. With the stock PowerFC map it is really rich and throttle response is suffering too.
I was hoping this is easy enough to still tune w/ the Commander since I don't really have the mods necessary to justify buying the Datalogit software. While Datalogit is something I don't mind purchasing in the future, it's not something I need now or even a year from now.
Any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

Oh wow!!! Okay, I've got to run out the door for work but as soon as I get back I'm having a thorough reading of this.
Thanks so much for the link and your original post in that thread too!
