how long does it take the pfc to "learn"
Ok I went through the normal 30 min "learning" process of the pfc
10min idleing
10min idleing w/ac
10min idleing w/rear defrost
my question is, how long, or how many miles does it take the PFC to fully dial in? I notice that it seems to still be messing with the injector timing which is causing a revving effect. after I let it run for a few seconds it stabalizes.
a detailed answer would be appreciated.

Unpredictable. It depends on the mods, and condition of all engine and control parts.
If the engine is getting way too much air at idle(usually the case with the PFC) then it may never learn until the air is reduced. It is too complex for me to want to type up due to what all is involved with controlling the idle rpm and AFR.
If you go back into the forum to the begining and read all, then you will probably know.

I've had it take a week of everynight driving for my PFC to settle down after making chances...(3 - 4 hours of varied driving along with normal idling times)
Aftering changing boost parameters it usually took 4 - 6 good hard pulls to learn enough to stop what whaa-whaa-whaa, up/down/up/down boost curves, then got pretty solid after that. (it was also gear dependent, so pull 4 - 6 3rd gear, then 4 - 6 4th, then 4 - 6 5th -- 3k - 7k runs)

The "hunting idle" your talking about may go away. If it does not go away its because your TPS is set too high and the PFC cant read the high voltage. What you need to do is a combination of things. First under the intake elbow there is an idle air control screw. Open it up more and then use the screw in front of the elbow on top to lower the idle back down. You can check your PFC commander for the TPS voltage. I am not sure the exact parmaters but if you see voltages up above 1 volt it probably is not able to read it and the idle will just hunt up and down. Mine was reading 1.3 or 1.6 volts and the ECU didnt ever learn anything until the adjustments were made.

the best thing to do is to close the idle air control motor screw a little. then if you need to raise the idel use the screw near the throttle cable. after a few adjustments to those the pfc learned and never forgot.
