hmm...unusual idle????

Well I installed the PFC last night and put in Tim Benton's maps because he told me that a rough tune would be good before actually doing the real one later this weekend. Unfortunately I have an issue that will prevent me from tuning this weekend but anyways, my question: It idled fine with injector duty cycle around 6-8% after a while it started wanting to die and I noticed the injector duty would go from 5-6% down to 0% and then back up to 5-6% and so on. When I gave it a little gas it reved up smooth and steady but when I let off the gas it dropped back to this cycle of 5-6% and 0%. If there is a problem with the tuning why did it idle fine for a little while and then start acting up? What should I look for?
Thanks

Alot of PFC have a learning curve, mine didn't but its not unusual for it to take about 10 to 15 minutes of idling (learning your cars unique characteristics). Let it idle for about 10 more minutes, then take it for a short drive, not getting on it, just a nice cruise and then come home and let it idle again and see how its doing then.

Sorry, no one had responded in such a long time but it straightened itself out Just like you said. I took it for a cruise around the block and it seems good awaiting a good tuning now.
