Power FC high rev with power fc?
high rev with power fc?
Hey guys just curious if "sometimes" when you start your car, does the revs jump up to about 3500rpm then just jump up and down from 1K to 2.2K? Only does it sometimes though.....
When I start my car it will drop right away to normal idle. however if I tap the gas the engine will rev to what ever rpm it would normally rev to ( based on the hardness of the TAP ) and stay there as long as it's not over say 1800 RPM. which means if I started the car and it was idleing perfectly then punched the throttle (the car is still quite cold still ) the it would rev up and settle at 1800 RPM. If I just started the car and let it warm up to normal opperational temp at normal idle with out touching the gas pedal it would not stay revved up if I hit the gas. So this is what I normally do instead of trying to figure out why it happens. The warm up time can't be that bad but some people say you should just drive the car after waiting for about 30 sec for the engine to get lubed. Some people feel it's bad to just let the rotary idle. Beats me...
