HELP: Power-FC D-Jetro wiring *pic*

I aplogize but this is for a Nissan RPS13 mtoro ('98 SR20DET) and I have been searching all over but there is little to no information on Power FC and SR20 engines, let alone D-Jetro units.

This appears to be a great site and I'm learning a lot from the forum as it is one of the few that has valuable information on the Power FC (which is very popular amongst the RX-7 and Evo communities).

On to business...

The D-Jetro requires splicing two wires on the ECU for the Intake Air Temperature Sensor (the harness for this sensor is a 2-wire harness - brown and red).

Below are the Power FC ecu pinout (top) and SR20DET factory ECU pinout (bottom).

The brown wire from the Power FC temp harness goes to #21 ground. This seems normal. Correct?

The red wire, according to the pin-out points to #26 which is the Exhaust temp sensor inout (Behind the Cat) (Blue Yellow).

Am I reading that right? If you flip the ECU upside-down, the red wire would point to #18 Water Temp Sensor input (blue brown)

Also, does it seem like i have to drill and tap the intake manifold for the sensor to fit into?

Thanks,

They probably dont use the exhaust temp sensor so they used that spot of the wiring harness for the intake temp sensor input. Not sure but that would be my interpretation of it.

I see. I also don't have any exhaust temp sensor behind the cat so perhaps you are right.
