help! no start after pfc install

ok, finished up everything on the car and went to turn the key for the first time in a lil over a year (single turbo and pfc)...... all she does is crank, no start i'm getting 40psi of fuel pressure so i know i'm good there, i'm also getting spark. any ideas of where to look next? i didn't "cut" the "4 wires" yet, but i read that the car will still run either way. this could be a case of doing too many things at once... i don't know where to start

Question

You check everything that affects timing/spark/fuel.

Re-init the pfc if you have installed it for the first time and you are not afraid of loosing any maps. Then give a try.

If you are getting spark and fp then it must be the fuel. I have noticed anomalies with this when switching from using FC-Pro software to FC-Edit. Maps getting messed up etc, car wouldn't start because there was not enough fuel..

ok it turns out i'm mistaken, we don't know if the car is getting spark ( my car is in cleveland and i'm in ny, i misunderstood what he said over the phone) he said he needs another set of hands there to check spark. he checked all the little things since it was getting late (fuses, making sure everything is plugged in tightly etc) but hasn't gotten into it in depth yet.

the map im running is from the guys at rx7store so i'm pretty sure its not gonna be that, and yes there is new gas in the tank i'm REALLY hoping its not getting spark so we can narrow it down to that atleast.

i hate being so far from the car, i feel like my hands are tied behind my back

My original coils have over 105,000 miles and have been fired by a Crane HI-6R for about 5 years and a HKS Twin Power for two years and they work perfectly.

But you do not have to swap them out in order to test them.

Crazy, I have the same problem, but maybe more serious. My FD Sat for the winter, put in new plugs and all it does is crank. The weird thing is that I hear a electrical type hummmmmmm around the intake manifold when the ignition is still engaged but not turning the engine over.

Any thoughts?
