Fuel cut or Spark cut?

I've tried searching for this but couldn't find anything.

As far as rev limiters go which is safer fuel cut or spark cut?

And is the Power FC's limiter a fuel or spark cut?

BTW just for ***** and giggles... which one makes better backfiring?

The rev limiter on the Power FC is a fuel cut, unless you have the discontinued Power FC pro model which has a spark cut.

If you really want some backfiring, get an ignition box capable of a 2 step. Or ditch the PFC and get a Haltech or an AEM EMS, which have that capability already.

If you condsider what is happening combustion wise while on full boost, LOGICALLY, fuel cut is bad!

Thanks for the help.

I don't know much about ignition boxes, what brands or types do you recommend?
