been looking for the pfc boost control kit. everyone wants way to much money for them though. found some part numbers for the apexi control valve and the 3 wire plug for the pfc. anyone tired this without actually getting the kit?

you can buy the kit in parts, i have done this on my skyline and it works fine.
there are three parts to the boost control kit;

harness
map sensor
boost solenoid

each have their own part number and there are two versions of the "harness"
type one is the 3pin kit version and type two is the 5pin kit version
look at the side of your PFC and look what boost kit you have (white socket).
most cars have the 3pin version, and the rx7 is probably the 3pin version.

nengun.com stock both versions along with the map sensor and boost solenoid.
the map sensor is listed as "Djetro map sensor" which is actually a denso map sensor. and the boost solenoid is listed as, exactly that, and its the same part as the avcr solenoid.

you can for example, buy the harness and map sensor only so that you hand controller displays boost pressure on it under MONITOR,1 CHANNEL without buying the solenoid and using the actual boost kit.
