Power FC flooding problem/rich idle
flooding problem/rich idle
so i thought i had a fuel pressure problem where I thought the injectors was leaking, which is causing my car to idle really rich on a stock pfc map, and fouling my plugs. So i checked the fuel pressure and turning the ignition on 2, i get about 34 psi. then i turn the ignition off. 15 minutes later i lose only about 2- 4 psi in fuel pressure. So then I pulled out the plugs and only the leading plugs are dry burnt marks, and the trailing are soaking wet with fuel. i put a screw driver in all the spark plug wire and all of them have strong spark when i ground them near the chassis when cranking the car. But dont understand the wet trailing and rich idle on stock injectors. I have the o2 feedback off and raised the rpm values to 900 on the pfc thats about the only tuning i did. Its a Fresh built motor pulling great vac. any ideas?
mods ported motor stock turbos non seq
stock injectors all around
300zx TT fuel pump
everything else pretty much stock

If only the trailing plugs were misfiring or not firing at all, then changing the IGT Adj (p 30 of the manual) would have no affect on idle smoothness, but changing IGL ADJ would have a noticeably affect on idle.
And vice versa if only the trailing plugs were good.
