Power FC FC-edit USB not communicating
FC-edit USB not communicating
Ok well I've tried everything I can think of to get this thing to work. All the start up proceedures(different order), all 8 com ports, different setting on the com ports, even reinstalling FC-edit and the driver for the USB. The computer seems to say the USB is working correctly and the datalogit works, with this cable, because it just came from someone else's car, and worked on their computer. Can anyone think of anything else to do??
I'm about sick of computers lately, my comp at work is having to have a new motherboard, this doesn't work, and I'm having to send an LM-1 off to have it repaired because it quit working. I've also found all this out in about the past 2 days.

Ok here is what happened. I tried everything I could think of come to find out my wife decides to say oh yeah the USB ports don't work all the time for some reason, since it is her laptop. She said they will read her flash drive but won't download pics. from the camera. So I went and got the serial cable, hooked it up, and amazingly it worked the first time.
Now I guess I have to figure out what is wrong with the USB drive on her computer.
