Hi,

For the people who can't install the USB to serial adapter driver provided by the Fc datalogit company .
First check which company made your usb to serial adapter device. Download the USBView utility created by Microsoft. http://www.ftdichip.com/Resources/Utilities/usbview.zip

Unzip and run it. You can view all the the usb ports and search the port that is connected to a device. The connected usb device but not working properly will have a yellow round icon with black exclamation mark and that is your datalogit usb-serial device. click on it and it will show some data.



From above picture you can see my device was made by a taiwanese company Prolific Technology, Inc.
I downloaded the driver from their website , installed it and finally it works.
