Does your ISC ever make a noise? I was told this is a fairly common thing, and not to be worried about it, and that the PFC does not control it perfectly.
Mine specs out OK, but it sometimes makes a noise like it is cycling back and forth to me when the car is not running and the ignition is on.
I want to try and keep it, just looking to see if what I was told is true, and if so how many people it affects.

I have had an ISC buzz before with the ignition on. Cleaning the inside with a solvent (MMO, carb cleaner, etc) can remove deposits and restore it in most cases. I think the PFC controls the ISC fine if the ISC duty cycle is not too high or low at idle. The air/throttle adjustments may need to be changed on modded cars to put the ISC duty cycle back to the middle.
