Connecting LM-1 to Datalogit and other sensors

I am pretty sure the LM-1 analog cable is just a mini-stereo cable with the wires cut. I look at the full manual, and it seems to be the same, although I am not sure what color is what, it does not state that in the manual.

The colors of the wires are red, white, and yellow.

Anways which wire goes were? Do they all need connected? DO I just connect one of the wires to the datalogit?

Once that is connected, I will need to tell the datalogit its a 0-5V, do some logging and adjust the voltage accordingly, right?

Is it also possible to log data from an aftermarket gauge sensor, ie pressure or temperature sensor that comes packaged with a Defi, Greddy, or HKS gauge? Or would that require an altogether different kind of sensor?

Thanks for the help!

Hi,

It appears the datalogit (from another thread) has differential inputs (+ input at AN1, - input at AN2).
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong there.

In this case connect the Analog out 2 (white) to AN1, metallic (analog GND) to AN2.
Program Analog out 2 to what translation of voltage to AFR you want.
These colors apply to the analog out cable we sell. To find out the colors of your cable you have to ohm it out. Refer to the LM-1 manual section A3 for the contact assignments.

Regards,
Klaus
