Does your Heat hazard lite come on?
When you simply turn the key to the ON position with the PFC ? Or does it come on after the car is running IF a problem exists ? I removed my Heat hazard switch a long time ago and now that I have a PFC I want a simple lite to tell me when somethign is wrong. I used Ign 12V on one side of a 1.4 watt bulb and hooked to ground side up to ECU connector 2I which is a Orange/Blue wire ( per the manual )
Just want to make sure I have the connection right.

It comes on when you turn the switch on, so that you can make sure the bulb works. As soon as you start the car, it should go off.
I may be misunderstanding your message, but I'm quite sure the overheat light won't illuminate for you because of the PFC, like it indicates that it should. Using the datalogit I artificially set my knock and inj duty thresholds really low to see if any lights would come on, and they don't. I've never seen any proof that this feature ever worked with our version of the PFC.....

I do not believe it does. I have the PFC installed, car runs. The overheat light never lites up....with key on, with engine running. Heck I even disconnected the Air temp sensor with the engine running and the lite never came on. I did see the sensor log on the commander show that the sensor had a problem.
Am I right- the overheat lite never comes on with our version ?

From my understanding, the light is supposed to light up when you first turn key on and it stays lit until you start the engine, at which point the light turns off if there are no problems. From there, the light is supposed to stay off unless there is an error with one of the sensors or one of the thresholds are passed. If a sensor's busted or giving off bad readings, it will light up, and you should be able to see which sensor it is in the "sensor/switch" screen on the Commander. If you exceed the boost level or the knock sensor limit, it's supposed to flash, but I have yet to see that happen either.

Thanks Allenhah....so let's recap, so far we all agree that the little exhaust overheat light does NOT light up for anyone on this thread so far. Correct ?
Reason I am asking is, I do not want to connect that circuit back up if it don't work. And I have it temporary right now and it ain't workin.

I'm not quite sure. I bought the unit from a forum member. It's definitely the new version (5.4, I think?), and most of the text is in English. The "Yes/No" in the setup screen is still in Japanese.
Nevertheless, I would imagine that mine is a US spec version...

I have a '94 US model FD with a US version PFC ....
My light comes on when key is turned on and goes off when started, just like TailHappy and Allenhah. I have never seen the light come on for anyother reason, perhaps TailHappy is correct the function may not work for our version? I can't say for sure.
