Does resetting the PFC reset the base maps also?

I've gotten a tune recently but need to reset my ecu. I've messed around with the datalogit software and know there are maps that can not be seen through the commander. My maps, as seen through the commander, all read 100 so I'm thinking my tunner just adjusted the base maps. If I reset will I lose that data?

Yes, the tuner did a re-calc on the base map. Just save the maps from the PFC so you don't lose anything.

Why do you have to reset the PFC?

It seems whenever I pull the engine and put it back in my PFC always reads my engine wrong. LIke normally just sitting there with the car off I'm at -50mm of hg but when this happens I'm at +.33 bar. While the car is idling the commander shows about -140mm of hg but my greddy gauge shows ~350. But the car runs awfull, throttle repsonse practically doesnt exisit and it runs like its blown. Normally I havnt had it tuned so I just reset and it clears everything up. I dont have the datalogit box but just have messed around with the software. Otherwise that make that part a bit easier.

NVM, I found my problem. I guess some how everytime I mess with my engine I mess with the PIM volt screen. Set that back to normal and it is running great.

A large % of reported problems with the PFC are people induced
