Does "O2 F/B Control" Disable Air Pump?

Does disabling the "O2 F/B Control" feature in the powerfc disable the air pump? I would like to just disable O2 feedback for the purpose of AFR tuning in lieu of disconnecting the air pump connector. My air pump connector has seen better days and I don't want to push it by disconnecting/connecting it too much. Thanks.

disabling the O2 feedback is like running without an O2 sensor, you'll get worse gas mileage

If you disable the O2 sensor F/B control, and retune the idle and cruise areas , you can actually improve mileage. But then the emmissions will be off.

Actually, you get IDENTICAL gas mileage. I've verified this a number of times. The PFC is just tuned really well - the cruise maps are around stoich.

The O2 sensor is just there for the OEM's to account for changes in the running condition of the car as it ages. It verifies that the cat is getting proper AF mix so emissions are right where they should be.

so theres no point in replacing or even having the stock o2 sensor if you have the PFC?

Yes... assuming you will retune as your car ages and operating conditions change. I think the big problem would be large changes in temperture. Very cold and you will run lean. Very hot and you will run rich. However, powerfc helps you cope with this issue through the various temperture dependent fuel corrections.
