ok i am thinking about buying the power fc here shortly for my fd. i was wondering if you had to run both a boost controller and the power fc. or will the power fc have its own boost controller options???

PowerFC should do fine with your boost control and those mods. Many people use the PFC to control boost until they go single (I did). I also know another member who recently dumped their AVCR and went back to the PFC as his boost controller and seems to be very happy.

Yup, that is me. I dumped the AVC-R for the PFC boost control. Simpler and works NICE.
