disable air pump RX7FD

I want to disable the air pump for correct AFR-logging with datalogit and wideband. What is the easiest way to do that? What exactly do I have to do? Is it enought to disconnect the air pump connector? Or do I have to remove the air pump relay?

Unplug the pump at the electrical connector right at the pump. The PFC doesn't care and the ACV will not add air if the pump is not pumping....

You only need to pull the connector at the pump. Look at the FSM Section F schematics at the end of the chapter.

You'll also want to turn off O2 sensor feedback so the PFC isn't trying to use the O2 sensor for an input. The O2 sensor's values are fudged to compensate for the airpump air, and if you have the O2 feeback on with the airpump unplugged it could make weirdness that you'll be trying to tune around.

Really, there's no good reason to use O2 sensor feedback. Car will run better and get the same fuel economy with it turned off.
