Datalogit w/ older power fc

Is a datalogit universal to use on an older power fc? It is the older 3 wire type. Just curious.

What do you mean the 3 wire type? How can you tell if yours is the older type? Just wondering. Bought my car, it came with an pw fc and commander unit, just trying to learn about it.

when the pfc starts up, on the commander screen it will tell you your version... mine is old as well (around v. 5.x)

The old commander has three wires, or something like that.
