I have the fd3s version and have four inputs (AN1-4) and four switches (SW1-4). I noticed that the new universal software has places for eight inputs. This lead me to a couple questions.

1- What are some possible useful things that I would be using the switches for?

2- Is there any way to use the switch contacts as more inputs? Possibly by using the universal FC-Edit software, or do I need to buy the universal version?

3- What inputs are you guys using? I currently only have my WB hooked up, but I'd like to set it up to log dual EGT's the next time I have the turbos off.

I've never heard of anyone getting the switches to work. It seems like the Datalogit guys just gave up on supporting them because they are lazy and cornered the market for PFC interfaces.

I have the older FD3s box but use the UNIVERSAL software to log with as it is faster in most configurations.

Never have used the switches. Read page 75 of the DL manual.
